Spritz Spritz Cleaning: Terms and Conditions

This document outlines the terms and conditions of business between Spritz Spritz Cleaning and our customers and clients. By engaging with Spritz Spritz Cleaning services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Agreement

Spritz Spritz Cleaning is committed to providing professional cleaning services for residential and commercial properties.

1.1 Service Hours: All service estimates are given in "man-hours." For example, one cleaner completing a 4-hour clean is equivalent to two cleaners each completing a 2-hour clean.

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1 Payments are due at booking time.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

3.1 Scheduled Service Cancellation: * We require 24 hour notice to cancel a scheduled service. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a charge of 50% of the agreed service fee for the booked clean. * If less than 8 hours notice is given, 100% of the agreed service fee for the booked clean will be charged.

3.2 Rescheduling Exemptions: * If you need to reschedule, please contact Spritz Spritz Cleaning to make a request. If we can offer a suitable alternative time within the same calendar week and you agree to the new time, a cancellation fee will not apply. * However, if the rescheduled appointment is subsequently canceled, the original cancellation fee will be reinstated, and another cancellation fee may apply based on the standard terms. * A cancellation fee may be waived in the case of a client health emergency. Spritz Spritz Cleaning reserves the right to request a medical certificate before waiving the fee.

4. Client Responsibilities

4.1 Property Access: You are responsible for ensuring our cleaning team can gain access to your property on the day of cleaning. If you won't be home, please provide a key or access instructions. If no access is granted and no prior notice is given, a lock-out fee of 100% of the booked clean will be charged.

4.2 Safe Working Environment: You must ensure the property is a safe working environment for our cleaners and report any potential hazards upon their arrival. This includes: * Pet Restraint: All animals (e.g., dogs, cats, snakes, lizards, chickens) must be restrained or secured away from the areas where the cleaner will be working, for the safety of both your pets and our staff. * Pet Behavior: You are fully responsible for your pets and their actions. If unrestrained pets are found in the working area, the cleaner may decide to leave the property for their safety, which will result in a charge of 100% of the agreed service fee for the scheduled clean. * Hazardous Materials: Our cleaners are not permitted to clean up vomit or feces unless a specific biohazard cleaning service has been quoted and agreed upon.

4.3 Property Preparation: Please remove clutter (such as dirty dishes, toys, clothes, and papers) from floors and surfaces in areas to be cleaned. This allows our cleaners to focus on detailed cleaning. Please ensure dirty clothes are put in the laundry, preferably in a basket. If bed linens are to be changed, please leave clean linens out.

4.4 Limitations of Service: * Cleaners are not permitted to use a ladder or climb in your home to reach above a reasonable height. "Reasonable height" is determined by the cleaner, taking into account their safety and the safety of others. * Our cleaners are not allowed to carry out specialized cleaning of antique, valuable, or delicate items.

5. Damages and Insurance

5.1 Insurance Coverage: Spritz Spritz Cleaning staff are fully covered with public liability insurance.

5.2 Wear and Tear Clause: * Definition of Wear and Tear: "Wear and tear" refers to the natural and gradual deterioration of goods or property due to normal usage over time. This includes, but is not limited to, minor scuff marks, fading, slight discoloration, minor fabric fraying, and other imperfections that occur naturally through regular use. These conditions do not indicate any fault or negligence on the part of Spritz Spritz Cleaning and are not classified as damage. * Company Responsibility for Wear and Tear: Spritz Spritz Cleaning is not responsible for any repairs, replacements, or maintenance related to wear and tear. Any wear and tear that occurs as a result of normal usage will not be repaired, replaced, or compensated by the company. * Exclusion of Liability for Wear and Tear: Spritz Spritz Cleaning shall not be liable for any costs or damages arising from normal wear and tear. It is your responsibility to regularly inspect the condition of your property and take appropriate action to prevent excessive wear or damage.

5.3 Damages: In contrast to wear and tear, "damage" refers to any physical harm, breakage, or deterioration of goods or property that results from misuse, accidents, or failure to follow provided care instructions. * Client Responsibility for Special Care: If special care is required for an item by the client but instructions are not provided, the client will be considered at fault for any resulting damages. * Damage Notification: If something is damaged during the course of a cleaning, Spritz Spritz Cleaning will make every effort to repair or, when necessary, replace the damaged item. * Photo Documentation: Cleaners are permitted to take photos of hazards or damage in a home before commencing work. Cleaners are also required to take "before and after" photos for each clean and provide them to Spritz Spritz Cleaning.

5.4 Client Keys: * In the event of a cleaner losing a client's key, the cleaner is fully responsible for the replacement cost of the key only. Spritz Spritz Cleaning will not be responsible for changing locks. * If a key is left on the client's property (e.g., in a letterbox, under a bin, under pot plants, in key lock boxes, etc.), Spritz Spritz Cleaning will not be responsible if the key goes missing.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is important to us! If for any reason you are unhappy with the quality of work provided by our cleaner, you must report this to Spritz Spritz Cleaning within 12 hours of the service. Once reported, Spritz Spritz Cleaning will assess the quality of work and what was requested prior to the clean. If Spritz Spritz Cleaning determines the quality of the cleaner's work is not up to expectations, we agree to send a cleaner back to complete the clean to your satisfaction at no additional charge. This guarantee applies to issues that are a direct result of our cleaning service and does not cover issues related to wear and tear or pre-existing conditions.

7. Supplementary Terms

7.1 Non-Solicitation of Employees: You agree that you will not employ or directly or indirectly use the services of any Spritz Spritz Cleaning cleaner within 12 months of the cancellation of your relationship with Spritz Spritz Cleaning or from the first introduction of the cleaner to you.

7.2 Incidental Costs: You must promptly reimburse Spritz Spritz Cleaning for any incidental costs incurred as a result of your actions in any way.

7.3 Adherence to Agreed Hours: Cleaners will only undertake work for the hours arranged in advance unless otherwise instructed by Spritz Spritz Cleaning.

8. General Information

8.1 Operating Hours: We operate on a varied schedule please check our hours of operation for exact times.

8.3 Supplies and Equipment: We arrive with our own professional cleaning supplies and equipment so you don't have to worry. However, if you have any preferences for specific cleaning products or equipment, please ensure you provide them.

8.4 Service Time: We understand that not all homes are lived in the same way. Our teams spend the time needed to get the best possible result, which may sometimes mean staying a little longer than usual to provide extra attention.
